Most archers in the winter months lower their poundage so their bow is easier to draw back. My bow stays at the same poundage all year. I engage certain muscles during workouts enabling me to draw the same poundage during hot or cold weather conditions! This allows me to re-sight in my bow while preventing a loss in valuable hunting time. One minute in the archery world of hunting can mean the difference between letting the string loose, the arrow flying and hitting its target, or watching the animal go by!
